Biography
* um 1500 Bremgarten (AG), † 28. 05. 1551 Solothurn.

ab 1544 von Solothurn. Sohn des Hans und der Katharina Füchsli. 1529 als altgläubiger Pfarrer in Bremgarten abgesetzt, bis 1536 Leutpriester in Baden, dann Stud. bei Glarean in Freiburg i.Br. Als Humanist latinisierte er seinen Namen in Anguilla. Ab 1538 Stiftsprediger und Chorherr zu St. Ursen in Solothurn, 1544-51 Stiftspropst. Bedeutender Dramatiker und Musiker: Verfasser einer Johannestragödie, die 1549 aufgeführt und dann von Matthias Apiarius gedruckt wurde, sowie eines 16-strophigen St.-Mauritzen-und-St.-Ursen-Lieds.
