1988 - Graduates as a choir leader, organist and singer at the Akademie für Schul- und Kirchenmusik in Lucerne (composition/harmony under the tutelage of Ernst Pfiffner and counterpoint with Franz Rechsteiner); in-depth studies in choir leading under the tutelage of Klaus Knall at the Reformierten Kirchenmusikinstitut Zürich (composition/counterpoint with Gerald Bennet)
1990/91 One-year study in general anthroposophics at the Goetheanum in Dornach.
1985 to 2004 - Choir leader and organist at the Bruderklausenkirche in Berne
1993 to 2004 - Conductor of the Singkreises Ittigen
Since 1989 - Deputy conductor of the Berner Kantorei am Münster
