After receiving her piano diploma from Zurich Conservatory Christina Kunz continued her artistic education on the harpsichord at the Nordwestdeutschen Musikhochschule in Detmold, most particularly under the instruction of Professor Franzpeter Goebels. She was also awarded
Various study prizes during this time. Kunz performs as a soloist and chamber musician in Switzerland and abroad - she is a soloist with the chamber orchestra of the Munich Philharmonic and the City of Oxford Orchestra amongst others. She has recorded numerous works for radio and onto CD including world premiere performances of contemporary composers. Her particular speciality 'Konzerte mit Wort und Bild' (Concerts with Words and Pictures) cover various themes including 'Der junge J.S. Bach' (The Young J.S Bach), 'Der unbekannte Mozart' (The Unknown Mozart), 'Die Musik erzählt Geschichten' (Music Tells Tales), 'Es tönen die Bilder' (The Sound of Images), 'Martin von Tours' and 'Dreikönige' (The Three Kings).
