A scenic, humouresque, dadaesque, cross-border formation between serious music and free jazz.
Four musicians from Germany, France and Switzerland get together for a multi-faceted sound exchange transgressing, in the process, numerous frontiers such as land and those produced by genre, stylistic ties, diversity, the instruments and communication. In addition the frontiers of this acoustic performance are also merged: on the one hand side through-composed original compositions by 4hoch3 and on the other concepts which allow for individual freedom of form flowing, as appropriate, into improvisation and back again. This in turn allows for the development of the musician's individual function upon a mutual base of great originality. And so the tone poem and opera are as fundamental as jazzoid interludes as viewed through a kaleidoscope of contemporary perception. Absolute free tonality is offered in the same casual and easygoing manner as are the sentiments and fantasms of A Midsummer Night's Dream. From a sense of tone to non-sound offered with empathy and esprit.
