- Studied clarinet and composition under the tutelage of Marcel Wahlich and Mani Planzer amongst others
- Further training in the field of old music with Mireille Mingueley and Matthias Weilenmann
- Improvisation with Malcolm Goldstein (Canada)
- Musician in various formations including MorschAchBlaSorCHester, Scacciapensieri, 4VentiQuattro, Swiss Improvisers Orchestra, Duo KRAK, Performancegruppe Interco, Duo Xtrem
- 20-year musician and improviser in the most varied of ad hoc configurations and solo musician
- Compositions for Ein nicht alltägliches Orchester, Quartetto Barocco, Chor Kultur & Volk, WWB-Orchster , PreArt-Soloists and many more
- Various recordings for film, television and CD
- Long-term collaboration with the visual artist Susanna Vecellio in the performance 'Gespräche ohne Worte' with music and overhead projection
1996 - Sponsorship prize awarded by the canton of Aargau
1997/98 - Composition and concept for 'Musik ist Zeit – Zeit ist Musik', a scenario in music and pictures
