- Studies recorder under the tutelage of Gerd Lünenbürger and Ulrike Mauerhofer at the Conservatory for Music and Theatre, Berne - graduates in 1992
1994 until 1996 - Studies at the conservatory of Biel under the tutelage of Andel Strube with the recorder as a main subject and music analysis of the 20th century as a minor subject under Roman Brotbeck
June 1996 - Graduates with distinction at professional performance level
- Attends master courses for recorder headed by Han Tol, Kees Boeke, Gerd Lünenbürger; for new music headed by Frederic Rzewski, Christian Wolff, Urs-Peter Schneider, and for improvisation headed by Maggie Nicols and Joëlle Léandre.
1994 - Receives a promotional prize from the canton of Zug
1995 - Wins the Concours National de Lion D'Or in Neuchâtel
- Projects on the borderland between improvisation and composition/concept music
Old music: Music from the Middle Ages with SIX HANDS (Guillaume de Machaut, Codex Las Huelgas, Baldwine Manuscript); member of the Tregian Consort with English dance and instrumental music from around 1600 performed on period instruments (flauto dolce, viola da gamba, vihuela, harpsichord, lute, percussion).
