1970/71 – Travels to Asia as a street musician then studies music at the conservatories of Winterthur and Berne
1976 – Teachers diploma (Prof. Peter Mezger)
1980 – Soloist's diploma (Ulrich Lehmann)
1980 until 1983 – Concertmaster of the St.Galler Sinfonieorchester
Since 1983 – Works freelance
Repertoire: From Baroque to modern violin literature, improvisation, jazz, diverse folk music.
Since 1992 – Additionally composes choir, orchestra and chamber music
